This car was built before the Feds mandated those heavy, ugly rubber bumpers so it has the right look-clean, uncluttered, and just as the original designers intended.
The shape is probably familiar, and it has aged rather well-for being more than five decades old, the B still looks remarkably contemporary.
With nice bodywork, this one shows quite well overall.
It isn't perfect, of course, but the gaps are nice, there's no evidence of the dreaded tin worm, and whomever was in charge of the paint did a great job because it shines up nicely.
The chrome and brightwork is likewise in good order, particularly the grille and bumpers, which are really what make the early cars special.
You'll also note good glass, clear parking light lenses, and a traditional look that makes the MGB unmistakably British.
The interior is fresh and it was quite nicely done to OEM standards (maybe even better).
The bucket seats are supportive for spirited driving and comfortable enough for road trips if that's your thing.

A wood-rimmed steering wheel is the right choice, and it includes a matching shift knob for the 4-speed manual transmission, so everything you touch has a hand-crafted feel.
Big, easy-to-read Smiths gauges monitor the engine, and they're all operational.
There's also a digital AM/FM radio in the dash, right below a big chrome MG emblem, and it feeds speakers in the doors for decent sound even when the top is down.
And speaking of the top, it's new, too.
It stows in seconds behind the seats, leaving a clean profile.
There's also a good-sized trunk that's unfinished but big enough to carry plenty of gear for a weekend on the road.
The engine is MG's familiar 1798 cc inline-4, whose reliability has been proven many times over by now.
Rebuilt and finished in traditional MG Maroon, it looks right under the hood.
The hardware is basic, but that's all part of the MG's appeal-simplicity is sometimes better.
A single downdraft carburetor feeds the torquey little four cylinder, while a 4-2-1 exhaust manifold handles the spent gasses, dumping into a burly-sounding exhaust system with a proper resonator.
Twin electric fans up front help keep the radiator cool and there's a big alternator to power them without issues.
You'll note this MGB is equipped with power front disc brakes, a nice find on any vintage sports car, but the modest curb weight means that power steering is completely unnecessary.
The floors and unit-body structure are in excellent condition with no signs of structural issues and 3.
