Entry Level Quality Control Inspector

Quality Control Inspector- Macedonia, OH
Immediate need for an entry level Quality Inspector
M-F 8am to 5pm.
$11-11.50/HR depending on experience
Essential Functions:
o Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
o Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to production supervisor.
o Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work.
o Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database.
o Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions; calling for repairs.
o Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
o Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
o Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

o Experienced in using visual and mechanical inspection tools (e.g. microscope, gages, micrometer, caliper, comparator, etc.).

o Must be adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
o Strong analytical skills
o Must be very familiar with standard quality concepts, sound quality practices, and procedures for piece part, assembly and system level inspections, verifications and validations.
Experience and Education:
o High school diploma or equivalent is required
o 2+ Years of Quality control experience
Physical Requirements:
This position requires occasional standing for an extended period of time, lifting as much as 50 pounds, walking and working while sitting at a computer or desk. Physical hand dexterity and visual acuity is also needed to fulfill this role.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
