30pmFull time positionJob DescriptionMajor purpose:
Performs tasks associated with the receipt, storage, and shipment of products.
Use established tools, equipment, and technologies required to complete transactions related to Inbound and Outbound processes within a distribution center.
Must be willing to learn to operate Power Industrial Equipment (PIE).
o Safely perform assigned warehouse functions utilizing established processes, procedures and tools while meeting performance expectations for productivity, quality, safety and attendance.
Functions may include, but are not limited to unloading, put-away, sorting, labeling, picking, packing, replenishing, auditing, shipping, making boxes, etc.
o Complies with company policies, guidelines and procedures as well as state and federal regulations, OSHA and Hazardous Material requirements in the storage, handling and movement of product.
o Performs necessary housekeeping duties in order to maintain a clean, safe, organized work environment.
o Actively participates in process improvements by utilizing company quality system.
Major responsibilities and duties:
o Safely perform assigned warehouse functions utilizing established processes, procedures and tools while meeting performance expectations for productivity, quality, safety and attendance.
o Functions may include, but are not limited to unloading, put-away, sorting, labeling, picking, packing, replenishing, auditing, shipping, making boxes, etc.
o Complies with company policies, guidelines and procedures as well as state and federal regulations, OSHA and Hazardous Material requirements in the storage, handling and movement of product.
o Performs necessary housekeeping duties in order to maintain a clean, safe, organized work environment.
o Actively participates in process improvements by utilizing Company quality system.
Requirements:
? High School diploma or equivalent ? Must be able to work safely in a fast-paced distribution center environment.
? Must be able to lift 75 pounds.
Frequent lifting is required.
? Must be willing and able to be certified to operate all powered industrial equipment, including Reach truck, Order picker, Pacer, and Stock chaser.
? Must be willing and able to operate various hand and power tools.
? Able to operate computerized scanning equipment, Ex.
Data scanner, RF unit, Notebook.
? Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
? Able to use software applications, Ex.
Excel, Word, Outlook, MOVE, SAP, Warehouse Vision, and DC Profiler, etc.
? Must be flexible enough to work the hours in accordance to the business demands of the shift that you support.
An example of this would be working overtime or adjusting your start and/or end times to reflect the business needs.
? Must have excellent problem-solving skills.
? Must be willing and able to cross-train in other positions within the operation as needed.
? Must have the ability to meet deadlines and production requirements as hours and schedule may change.
? Must be self-directed, able to plan and arrange daily workload, and work under limited supervision.
? Must display a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and possess good math skills.
? Must be able to work in a team environment.
