On Call Work from Home Dispatcher (Seasonal When It Snows)

Responsibilities:
- Will need to come into our Macedonia location for initial onsite training prior to working from home - Must be available when it snows to dispatch event - Coordinate and manage snowplow drivers routes in a organized and efficient fashion.
- Utilize our Electronic Dispatch System - Communicate with drivers, customers, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods - Monitor and update completion times - help coordinate with field managers to make sure all work is completed in a timely manor - Perform data entry tasks to input and update shipment information in the system - Collaborate with shipping and receiving departments to coordinate inbound and outbound shipments -Be able to work on call from Midnight to 5pm.
(typical snow event is 6hours, however mother nature dictates how long we work)
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with phone systems and ability to handle high call volumes -Strong Computer skills - Strong attention to detail for accurate data entry and tracking completion of routes from drivers - Excellent communication skills to interact with drivers and internal customers - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly Note:
Experience with dispatching is a plus.
